The MMORPG game, Runes of Magic, was developed by Runewaker Entertainment, which is Taiwan-based. It has been adapted to suit the English speaking and the German speaking crowds. Runes of Magic went through an open beta before finally launching on March 19, 2009. It is a free to play game. So, there you don't have to pay anything to download it and you don't have to pay a monthly subscription fee.
Patches v4.0.6.2483 and 4.0.7.2482 have just been released last month, January 20 2012. These patches aim to get rid of some bugs and add some new content to Runes of Magic MMO. The patches total to about 312 MB. Text has been corrected the original text goes like this “allows storage of 2 weapons” but the corrected text shows that there are certain weapon combinations that can be stored such as:
2x One-handed weapon,
1x Two-handed weapon,
1x Main-hand weapon + 1x one-handed weapon,
1x Main-hand weapon + 1x off-hand weapon,
1x Main-hand weapon + 1x off-hand item
or 1x One-handed weapon + 1x off-hand item
Other info texts have been corrected as well, with the addition of a missing percentage sign for the Flowing Meditation and Divine Crystal pet spells. Other parts have been fixed such as the Grafu Castle Instance. The boos Annelia can no longer be defeated easily because while players cannot pass through a barrier's hole near the boss' organ, Annelia can also summon her followers.
Double damage can now be expected with the Bleed Effect. There was an error that prevented this before. Players with Justice points of more than 5000 energy will be given exchange rate by the Justice Workshop. Other improvements and content are available in the Runes of Magic patches.
