The popular, free-to-play MMORPG, Runes of Magic, is taking a huge leap forward in accessibility for players from around the world. Publishers Frogster Online Gaming are officially making the online game available to you in your browser!

Frogster Online Gaming (Eligium, Bounty Bay Online), publishers of the popular RPG title, have now made their game available to players around the world right in their browser. You read that right - Runes of Magic is now a browser game as well!

Right now, the new browser-based version of Runes of Magic is in the Open Beta testing phase. You can log in and create your own character right in your browser. The testing phase will go until January 9th, so you have a good amount of time to try out the new version of the game.

The browser version of Runes of Magic is powered by the Kalydo Engine, providing high-quality graphics but without the need for a client. The Kalydo Engine also allows for a seamless connection to your social networks, letting you log in with your Facebook profile rather than have to create an entirely new account to play.
